Rio Ferdinand initiated his career with West Ham United as the defender made his debut for the English defender at the age of 17. He was later transferred to Bournemouth on a loan deal before being signed by Leeds United for a transfer fee of £18 million.

Ferdinand spent 2 years playing for Leeds United but it was with Manchester United where he truly managed to stand out. The best seasons in the career of Rio Ferdinand was with Manchester United as the player lifted the Premier League on 6 occasions as well as the Champions League silverware and a few other titles along the way.
